WHAT IS ZUMBA?

Zumba is a fun and effective workout which combines aerobics and dance. Its varied movements are set to the energetic beat of Latin rhythms.

Zumba classes began as a happy accident that took place in the 90’s. A Colombian dancer, Alberto Perez, forgot the music cassette he usually used to teach his aerobics class. He improvised by playing merengue and salsa tapes instead. The explosive energy that resulted is the reason Zumba is so popular around the world today.

MEET YOUR GOLDEN HOME FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

We are fortunate to have Kaeleigh Aubrey as our new Director of Marketing, Studio Manager & Zumba Instructor. As a nationally ranked wrestler, Kaeleigh has the drive, resilience and competitive spirit necessary for the job.

Health has always been at the core of Kaeleigh’s life. She has excelled at many sports including softball, basketball and rugby. Kaeleigh wants to help others live active and healthy lives which is why she is a licensed Zumba Instructor and avid Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner.

In 2014, Kaeleigh received her Medical Assisting Certification. Her clinical skills combined with her athleticism and enthusiasm make her an exceptional addition to our Golden Home Fitness team.

WHEN ARE CLASSES HELD AT GOLDEN HOME FITNESS?

Kaeleigh teaches Zumba classes at Golden Home Fitness on Wednesdays from 11:00am to 11:45am, and on Fridays from 6:30pm to 7:15pm.
